A Typical Day at Tammy’s tots

7:30 - 8:30 - Children arrive, breakfast, teeth brushed

8:30 - 9:00 - School drop-off (Alvaston and Oakwood)

9:00 - 11:45 - Activities planned around children’s individual interests, learning and development

12:15 - 13:00 - Lunch

13:00 - 15:00 - Story time ( story sacks), Outdoor play

15:00 - 15:30 - School pick-up

16:00- 17:00 -  Dinner

17:00 - 17:30 – Free play

17:30 - 18:00 - Tidy up and Collection time

These times are a general outline of a typical day, and our flexible approach means that things may be moved around to suit the children and their individual needs. We also visit our local library, Alvaston park to feed the ducks, Elvaston castle and our toddler toddler group on a Thursday morning.

Each child under the age of 5 will also have a Learning Journey in which we keep track of their learning, care and development, relating it to the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
